A setting as rich in history as it is in atmosphere, we were delighted to bring a touch of intrigue and storytelling to a special two-day event at the remarkable Sir John Soane’s Museum. Inspired by the world of Agatha Christie, the event wove together flavour, design and narrative for a truly memorable experience.
Curated by Events by Benugo the bespoke menu took inspiration from Death on the Nile, transporting guests on a culinary journey through bold flavours and evocative dishes. Each element was thoughtfully crafted to reflect the spirit of the story, creating a seamless blend of food and theme.
Guests were welcomed with elegant canapés, including quail’s eggs on toast, ful medames, and trout with caviar. As the day unfolded, afternoon bites featured savoury scones and mushroom shawarma, offering a balance of comfort and creativity. The evening brought a vibrant feast of hummus, kofta, baba ghanoush and fragrant tabbouleh, a menu designed to be shared, savoured and remembered.
Set within the extraordinary former home of Sir John Soane, one of England’s most celebrated architects, the event was elevated by its surroundings. With its labyrinth of rooms, eclectic collections and intimate atmosphere, the museum provided the perfect backdrop for an immersive and unique experience.
